It is with great regret and sadness that we, on behalf of Sport Lisboa e Benfica and my own behalf, express the deepest grief and sorrow on the passing of Mário Dias.

Unique personality that will remain forever in our history for the generous and credible way in which he served Benfica, giving his unique contribution and being the driving force for the construction of the new Estádio da Luz. 

To his family and friends, our deepest condolences, solidarity and respect at this difficult time.
