Sport Lisboa e Benfica announces that it has reached with Vitória Sport Clube for the permanent transfers of the player Bruno Varela. 

Nurtured at the Club, Varela made his debut for the eagles' first team in 2017/18. Throughout that season, the goal stopper made 35 appearances for Benfica distributed by I Liga (29), Champions League (2), Portuguese Cup (2), Super Cup (1) and League Cup (1). He racked up a total of 3142 minutes. 

Last season (2019/20), Bruno Varela represented Ajax on loan, where a carried out a total of 5 matches (450 minutes).
