Luís Filipe Vieira: "United around what we love most, which is Benfica"

Luís Filipe Vieira was at Benfica Campus, this Thursday to convey a message of welcome and confidence to the senior football squad.

"Thank them for all the attitude they [players] have had throughout this month and a half in which we've been 'standing still' ... they never were ", started by thanking the President of  SL Benfica, in statements with BTV.

"The message is one of optimism, regardless of the difficulties we face - us and all the clubs, all over the country. We know that we have already experienced very difficult periods inside this club and we have known, all together, how to get around them. It is in this spirit that we are all, knowing that, within the difficulties, our obligation is to win. This message is embedded in all of us ", continued Luís Filipe Vieira.

"It's time to go back a few years and be united again around what we love most, which is Benfica. We are all aware that no one is above that flag.", claimed Luís Filipe Vieira. 

"And there's one championship Benfica can't lose: that of credibility. Benfica, in all situations, must make its commitments. Benfica cannot go back to the past, and that is the most difficult job we have ahead of us. I will do everything, day and night, so that Benfica can continue to comply with everyone, whether inside or outside the club. In this house, we will continue with this same timbre, the same dedication and the same feeling that is to serve Benfica with great pride ", he promised.
