The Goalkeeping Conference, initially scheduled for March 23, will be postponed to a future undefined date given the evolution of the number of confirmed cases and the escalation of measures to prevent and contain the Covid-19 virus.

This is a measure framed in the guidelines passed by government entities to various public and private institutions, and which Sport Lisboa e Benfica will also respect according to the prevention plan currently in place at the Club.

Considering this, the Goalkeeping Conference organization will monitor the evolution of the virus Covid-19 spreading to decide on a new date.

SL Benfica keeps the desire to foster this space of education and knowledge sharing, aimed at the goalkeeping coaching community.

The official announcement of the new date will be made in due time.

All registered participants will be contacted until the end of this week via email, with information regarding the registration already made.

Benfica-Tirsense: extended match highlights (4-0)

In front of almost 50,000 spectators at the Estádio da Luz, Benfica confirmed their qualification for the 2024/2025 Portuguese Cup final on Wednesday night, April 23, by beating Tirsense 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final (goals from António Silva, Bajrami, Belotti and Barreiro). In the first game, the Eagles had won 0-5. Thus, with a 9-0 aggregate in the semi-final, the Glorioso reached the decisive match of the Portuguese Cup for the 39th time. On their way to Jamor, the Reds overcame Pevidém (0-2), Estrela da Amadora (7-0), Farense (1-3), SC Braga (1-0) and, finally, Tirsense in a two-legged tie.
