Mission accomplished at Estádio da Luz! Benfica beat Lyon by 2-1 in Round 3 of the Champions League's Group G and, with these three points, underlined its position in the battle for the qualification to the Last 16. This was the 200 victory of the eagles in UEFA!

This result also helped Portugal to surpass Russia in the UEFA’s ranking (6^th), which will allow to have six teams in the European competitions and three spots in the Champions League, in 2021/22.
