STATEMENTS

SL Benfica remains at the top of the Liga NOS after the triumph (2-0) against Rio Ave in a match from round 10. Rúben paved the way for the three points, scored his 10th goal for the eagles in his 100th match and was named the Man of the Match.

“I'm very happy for the result and, above all, for the continuity. Our team has to stand out for its consistency. It's football, it's not easy, but that's our job and that's what we try to do every day, so I'm very happy with the display, even more so with the result and even happier with the three points”, started by saying the young centre-back.

“I'm very happy, of course! To be able to play 100 games for Benfica not even in my best dreams I dreamed of this! I'm happy to be able to close these 100 games with one goal, which has made this moment even more special”, he claimed.
