At the end of the triumph against Fiorentina (1-2), Bruno Lage analyzed the game, the collective performances, and admitted to being happy with the evolution of the team and players.

“The most important thing to highlight about the game is the way we played, especially in the first-half. We played with a lot of quality, very strong offensively. A first-half that was very close to what we must do, with high pressure, always trying to build up the attack and the way we scored the first goal is a sign of that. Then we had a lot of goal chances and we're on the right track. Now it's time to analyze the game and talk to the players. We want to hand minutes to everyone to play.”

“It always goes through our minds. Pizzi said that Benfica's greatness always makes you think about winning. We can't think of anything else, it's our mindset.”
