2019/20 pre-season: after the medicals, work on the pitch

On the third day of work in the 2019/20 pre-season – after the first two days dedicated to the physical tests at Estádio da Luz and at Seixal, and medical check-ups at Hospital da Luz – Benfica's professional football team opens its doors to the media at Caixa Futebol Campus.

This Wednesday (July 3), the first day on the pitch with two training sessions, Bruno Lage leads a practice in Seixal at 10:30 pm, with the first 15 minutes open to the Press. Before that, at 9:45 am, two players address the journalists.

It is worth mentioning that Pizzi, Rúben Dias, Rafa, Fejsa, Seferovic, Samaris and Odysseas will not be present. The international players that represented their national teams will only arrive on Friday (July 5). Jonas will present himself later and the last to arrive will be Zivkovic, on July 14, who recently played for Serbia at the U-21 European Championships.

For Saturday morning (10:30 am), at the Caixa Futebol Campus, it is scheduled a training session open to the Club members. 

The presentation match, in which Benfica welcomes the Belgian of Anderlecht to Estádio da Luz, is scheduled for July 10 at 8:30 pm. The tickets are already on sale.
