Sport Lisboa e Benfica and Bayern Munich played, on Tuesday evening, the penultimate round of the Group Stage (Group E) of the Champions League. At the Allianz Arena, a win for the home team by 5-1. The eagles transfer to the Europa League.

 “It was a less positive moment, without a doubt. A difficult game against a very strong team. We were not up to the clashes and it turns out to be a very difficult moment for us. But in these difficult moments we must unite and continue to work, but today we leave this ground sad. We know we must bounce back and do something.”, her started by saying to the journalists.

“What are we thinking about right now? We are not happy, we are not pleased, neither are the supporters and we must respect that. We lose together, we win together”, claimed the young centre-back.

Benfica-Arouca: extended match highlights

Benfica drew (2-2) with Arouca on Sunday, April 13, in a match from matchday 29 of the Liga Betclic, played at the Estádio da Luz and marked by controversial refereeing that penalized the Eagles. At half-time there was time to pay tribute to two-time European champion José Augusto (who turned 88), Miccoli (the former player returned to the Cathedral) and the Inspiradoras, who became five-time national champions on Saturday.

During half-time of the Benfica-Arouca match, on matchday 29 of the Liga Betclic, he was applauded by the Benfiquistas and thanked for the gesture from the Presidential Tribune. There, in the box, in the presence of President Rui Costa, among José Augusto's friends and family, Happy Birthday was sung to one of the undeniable names in the history of the Glorioso.
