Rafael Henmi, a winger from Benfica's futsal team, is one of the three nominees by the Asian Football Confederation to win the award of Best Futsal Player of the Year.

An International for Japan, Henmi contends for the Asian award with the Iranian athletes Ali Asghar Hasanzadeh and Mahdi Javid.

The announcement of the winner is scheduled for November 28, in a ceremony that will take place in the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre in Muscat.
