Grimaldo considered that Benfica made “a good game”, but the draw occurred “in an isolated play” from an Ajax team that had few goal chances.

“We did a good game, we deserved the win. We are in a moment in which the luck has not been on our side, but the team is united. Ajax scored in an isolated play. In the last minute, we could have scored the winner. It is a point with a bitter taste, but we have to carry on”, he stated.

The Dutch scored in the second half through Tadic, a draw that the left-back considered unfair.

“I don’t think we played poorly in the second half. We were in the lead, but Ajax got the equalizer. They did not have goal chances and, as I have already said, in an isolated play, they got the equalizer”, he claimed.
