He made his debut in the Champions League, scored a goal and made history: he is, according to the platform Playmaker Stats, the first player born in Guinea-Bissau (but with Portuguese citizenship) to score in the competition.
“I came on to help the team, that is the reason we all play for. I managed to score a goal and I am very happy. It was an important debut, but the most important are the three points”, said the midfielder.
