Gedson: “I am in the ideal place to continue growing”

SL Benfica won this Friday night the Sado International Tournament, after a 1-all draw against Vitória de Setúbal. Gedson Fernandes was a bet from Rui Vitória in the starting line-up (as in the match against Napredak) and left good indications and at the end, he was pleased.

“The team was very strong, we entered the game on the front foot. We gave our best throughout the match. We made an excellent first half, the second half was not so good, it had not the same quality as the first one, due to the fatigue”, he said, at the end of the match, to BTV.

The coach from the Reds bet on Gedson in the two first starting eleven of the season and the player nurtured at Caixa Futebol Campus is pleased, but with both feet on the ground.

“Of course that this bet gives me confidence, but I still have much to learn. They were two important matches for me, important for my evolution. I am in the ideal place to continue growing and I must continue working”, said Gedson.
