Castillo: “I am happy for the goal and for the debut”

Castillo made his debut with an eagle on his chest at the Sado International Tournament and he scored a goal. The number 30 shirt stressed the importance of winning the first match and wants to continue throughout the season.

“I am starting to know my teammates. To begin winning is always important. I am happy for the goal, for the debut and I want to continue like this throughout the season”, he stated.

“I was a starter. Benfica is the biggest team in Portugal and must win every match, even the friendlies. We showed we can play good football against any team”, he highlighted.

The Chilean played the first half alone up front and assumed that he has no preferences about playing accompanied or not in the attack.

“It is the coach who decides if I play alone in the attack or with a teammate. I want to add something to the team. I have no preference”, he said.

For Castillo, the match against Napredak is just a match and avoided making forecasts for what follows in 2018/19.

“I only think match by match. To score in the debut gives more confidence. The coach had also already given me confidence”, he finished.
