🎥 André Almeida extends contract until 2023

André Almeida has extended contract until 2023 with Sport Lisboa e Benfica, club with which he keeps a 8-year-old “perfect relationship”.

At the age of 28, the right-back has completed 250 matches and achieved his 13^th trophy with the reds.

"The renewal raises a special feeling. According to the way we finished the season, the best way to start the next one would be like this: extending the bond with this Club which has been giving me a lot. It’s already 8 years with this jersey and has been a perfect relationship."

Goals for 2019/20

"To win more titles with this great Club, to do amazing stuff like we did last season in what concerns to goals, where we matched an historical record. We want to do more things like that: beautiful and important things, but most of all we want titles. I think that when we start a new season, we have always in mind what we did in the previous one. To play more games, to score more, to provide more assists, to get more points… all the goals which end up as secondary – because the most important is to win titles, the points doesn’t matter –, but which are always in our heads."
