Ferro, Benfica's center-back, was elected the Best Defender of March by the coaches of Liga NOS, through a vote promoted by Liga Portugal.

The 22-year-old Portuguese gathered 11,97% of the votes, beating Alex Telles and Éder Militão, both from FC Porto.

Trained at the Club, Ferro was a starter in the four games played by Benfica in March (FC Porto, Belenenses SAD, Moreirense and Tondela), completing always the 90 minutes

Benfica's professional football team held another training session on Tuesday, April 22, at the Benfica Campus, with a view to the match against Tirsense, scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, at the Estádio da Luz. The second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-final is scheduled for 8:15 pm.
