Rúben Dias was proud of Benfica's display on Tuesday evening, even though the team was denied access to the League Cup final

"Above all, I want to say that we are proud of what we have done on the pitch. We fought a lot and the public was always on our side.Unfortunately, we didn't get what we wanted, but do not bow down. We will win!", emphasized the defender after the match against FC Porto.

The reds' centre-back regretted the disallowed goal in the end of the first half, but he praised the eagles' reaction during the second half.

"It was a very balanced first-half with goal chances for both teams. We ended up scoring the equalizer in the end of the first half, but the goal was disallowed. And then a second half in which we had to pursue what we want, which was to make a comeback. We created several goal opportunities that we could not turn into goals and in the final part of the match we took more risks and ended up conceding the goal that dictated the final result", he explained.
