Seferovic was a starter in Benfica's home match against Rio Ave, he scored two of the four goals that earned the reds the win (4-2) in round 16 of the Liga NOS and he also provided an assist. For all this, the forward was named the Man of the Match.

"We did a good match, with a new formation and a new coach. We fought, we scored goals and I think that the fans enjoyed the game. Now all we can do is continue to work, step by step, and keep fighting", claimed Seferovic in statements to BTV.

"It was important to win this game. It was good for us and for the fans. We conceded two goals in the first twenty minutes, but we did not give up. We fought and we came back", highlighted the eagles' number 14.

"It's good to receive this award, it's another incentive to work and score more. I will always do my best for this club and make the fans happy", emphasized the Swiss international.
