The coach reminds that there are other competitions in contention and assures that Benfica will fight to win them.

Benfica head coach, Rui Vitória, analyzed the loss, by 2-0, against CSKA and the attention is now centered in the national competitions.
“We started the match trying to enter the last third and score. We concede a goal. The team tried to recover, we almost got the equalizer through Jonas. The second goal is atypical and then it became more difficult. The game did not go as we wanted.”, he said.
Despite being in the last place of group A, Rui Vitória remembers that the value of the team is superior to what the group table shows.
“The standings do not match the value we have at European level. This phase of the Champions League did not start well and then the details in this competition are very important. There is more to life beyond the Champions League. We have to be sad, but there is a way forward. We will try to win the domestic competitions”, stated the coach.
“The players and all of us are aware that we could have done better. We will start working tomorrow because there is a game on Sunday, "he said.
Asked to comment on whether the elimination of the Champions League can leave marks in the team, Rui Vitória was clear: "There were situations out of normality. We were not the best before, nor are we the worst now. Big teams always have other competitions to play. "
