Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, has sent a letter in order to congratulate the Sport Bissau, our affiliate in Guinea, for its 11th title.

"My congratulations are, naturally, sent to all the responsible for this success", wrote Gianni Infantino.

The Sport Bissau e Benfica won the championship with 64 points, more 13 than Bula FC.

A heartfelt tribute to José Augusto!

Two-time European champion, synonymous with the Sport Lisboa e Benfica mystique, José Augusto was honored on Sunday, April 13, the day of his 88th birthday. During half-time of the Benfica-Arouca match, on matchday 29 of the Liga Betclic, he was applauded by the Benfiquistas and thanked for the gesture from the Presidential Tribune. There, in the box, in the presence of President Rui Costa, among José Augusto's friends and family, Happy Birthday was sung to one of the undeniable names in the history of the Glorioso.
