Jonas, Cervi and Grimaldo among the 500 most important players of the world

Admired by the performances they have been putting in at Benfica, Jonas, Cervi, and Grimaldo were selected by the "World Soccer" magazine and included in the 500 most important players of the world last year, according to the criteria defined by the magazine.

Currently the top scorer of the Liga NOS, with 31 goals scored in 27 rounds, Jonas had already deserved a sport in the last list of 500 names disclosed by the prestigious English magazine. The new features on the roster unveiled by the "World Soccer" magazine, are the Argentinean attacking midfielder who wears Benfica's number 22 jersey and the left-back who wears the number 3.

The influence and visibility won by Cervi and Grimaldo playing for the Four-time champions are key factors for the most recent election carried out and published by the British newspaper.

Carrying out his best season with an eagle on his chest, Cervi has played almost 2000 minutes in the current edition of the Liga NOS, in which he has scored three goals and made nine assists. As for Grimaldo, with close to 1900 minutes played in the most important competition of the Portuguese football, has delivered three assists and score one goal.

Just as Jonas, the youngsters Cervi and Grimaldo are players who contribute for Benfica's streak of good results, which stands at seven wins in a row in the Liga NOS, having won in nine of the last 10 rounds of the Championship.
