Benfica is on a seven-match winning run, they have amassed 28 points in the last dozen round of the championship and the numbers in that period show that it is the most in-form team among the 10 best leagues in Europe. Only the draw at Restelo prevents the team from having a 100 % winning record in that time gap.

In this comprehensive analysis carried out by the Official Site, one concludes that only Juventus gets close to the reds' best form. The Vecchia Signora has the same 28 points, but comes from a scoreless draw away at SPAL against the seven triumphs of the National Four-time Champions. The podium is rounded off by Paris Saint-Germain, with 27 points, result of nine triumphs and one defeat in the last 10 matches of the Ligue 1. It worth highlighting the fact Benfica leaves behind clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Manchester United or Bayern Munich.

MOST IN-FORM TEAMS IN EUROPE'S TOP 10 LEAGUES

It is also curious that the most in-form emblem is not necessarily the leader of the competition. Apart from Portugal, that is also the case in Spain, where Real Madrid, pushed by Cristiano Ronaldo, is growing from match to match, being the team with more goals scored in this streak; In Ukraine, with Dynamo Kyiv closing the gap to Paulo Fonseca's Shakhtar; in the Premier League, where Tottenham is coming closer to the 2nd place from José Mourinho's Manchester United. City is the clear leader and almost champion; in Russia, Spartak is trying to take the top spot from Lokomotiv where Manuel Fernandes plays; in Belgium, Genk finished the first stage of the championship in red-hot form.

In Portugal, no one is in better form. In pursuit of the benfiquista squad is FC Porto, but with 25 points in the last 10 matches and SC Braga, with one less point (24 points).

Festejos

The best form of Benfica is also displayed in the goal differences. In the last 10 matches, only Real Madrid is more prolific (34 against the 31 strikes from the eagles). However, in the goal difference, no one comes near the squad led by Rui Vitória: +26 goals. In the pursuit are Paris Saint-Germain (+22) and Bayern and Galatasaray (+20).

The championships are currently on an international break. On March 31st, Benfica hosts V. Guimarães at Luz to continue this winning streak.
