The volleyball of Benfica is in the National Championship to defend the title won last season. With two victories in the two previous matches of the semi-final (1-3 and 3-0), the eagles sealed the tie with a new 3-0 score at the Pavilion nº 2 of Luz.

The Championship will have a brake before the play-off final. Next come quarter-finals of the Portuguese Cup against Fonte do Bastardo at March 31.
