Cervi considered the 5-1 against Rio Ave as a “fair” result, in a match where he assumed the corner which gave Jardel the equalizer, at 48’.

“In the first half, they scored after a corner and after that we managed to have a few chances to score too. We finished the first half very close. In the second half we scored right there, which gave us the strength to move on. It is well deserved”, analyzed the Argentinian, to BTV.

The Argentinian still talked about Rui Vitória’s message at the halftime, in the dressing room.

"The message is always to be united and to go after the victory. We know what to do and we only had to score and to win this match, very important for us", he confessed.

In front of another massive support demonstration by the Benfica’s supporters, the midfielder declared that:  

"We have to keep always like this, united. We have a great group and we are very happy", concluded Cervi.
