Jonas: “We keep on fighting”

Jonas was considered, by the Benfica's supporters, Man of The Match, in the match against GD Chaves. The forward scored twice on the home victory (3-0), “important to bring tranquility”

"I'm happy for the victory, for the two goals and three important points. We keep on fighting and the team did a good game during the 90 minutes. A very strong first half, especially in the first minutes, with high pressure. We scored the first two in the first half, the third in the second half and after that we had a little less possession, which is normal, we controlled the result and won. It was a great result", analyzed the Brazilian, to BTV, when receiving the award.

The Forward – top scorer of Liga NOS, now with 23 goals –, highlighted the team’s good moment.

"The team has been growing, with ball possession, triangulations and many chances to score. Without the ball we pressure the opponent, avoiding counter-attacks, because many of the teams which face us have that philosophy. It was important to start strong and the goals to bring tranquility”, concluded.
