“I want to win trophies with this jersey”

It is official! Haris Seferovic, 25 years old, Swiss forward, has signed contract with SL Benfica for the next five seasons.

The international player arrived this morning. After the usual medical tests, completed in Hospital da Luz - Club's official partner - Seferovic signed the contract with his new club, a moment of joy, as he told to BTV. He also explained what he likes to do on the pitch.

“I like to score. I'm a forward, and if I have the possibility I would make assistances. What I want the most is to win the match and the three points”, he said.

What do you know about Benfica?

“I know a lot. I know that it's a huge club, with the great majority of supporters in the world, I think that it's the right club for me. I'm proud to be here!

Asked to talk about the new city… “Lisbon is a pleasant city, with a good weather, it seems to be a great city for football players”, he reveled.

The player, 25 years old (22/02/1992), arrives at the Portuguese "Tetracampeão”, coming from Eintracht Frankfurt, the German club where he has played for the last three seasons.

Early before, he played in Luzern, Grasshoppers, Fiorentina and in the first teams of Neuchâtel, Lecce, Novara and Real Sociedad.

At the end, he left a message to the supporters, trying to speak a bit of Portuguese.

“Quero ganhar títulos com esta camisola. Obrigado a todos!”, he concluded.
