Road to Benfica Campus: training and competing in a spirit of unity

For three days, between April 14 and 16, Benfica Campus hosted the 1st edition of the Goalkeeper Experience, an initiative that allowed 20 boys and girls, born between 2007 and 2012, to develop and perfect their sporting performance as goalkeepers, according to SL Benfica's training methodology. A success, to be repeated!

Christy Ucheibe, Joana Silva, Francisco Neto and João Veloso, players from Benfica's women's team and B team respectively, put their skills to the test in a skill challenge, in which the good mood and relaxation of the moment prevailed. At Benfica Campus, the challenge consisted of the footballers, in pairs, and in a series of 10 shots/passes by each participant, scoring goals in four mini-goals, worth points depending on the degree of difficulty, i.e. the distance to the target. Benfica's professional football team held another training session this Friday, April 18, at the Benfica Campus, with a view to the match against Vitória SC, scheduled for this Saturday, April 19, at the Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, in Guimarães. The match of round 30 of the Liga Betclic is scheduled for 8:30 pm.
