The excitement of 1152 Members honored

Every Benfica day is a memorable day. However, some are more memorable than others. This was the case on Saturday, February 24, when the Fidelidade Pavilion hosted the presentation to 1789 members of the Platinum Rings and the Gold and Silver Dedication Emblems for 75, 50 and 25 years of membership, respectively. Emotion, nostalgia, pride and an unavoidable mystique took hold of everyone present, from kids to adults. The Platinum Rings and Gold and Silver Emblems ceremony honored 971 Members with 7, 50 and 25 years of connection to Sport Lisboa e Benfica. It was Rui Costa's first time in the role of Club President.

A day of reunions, to relive moments that have gone down in history and to add new memories: happy ones and of a love that lasts forever! Surprised by his former teammates and much loved by all those who had passed through him, Miccoli returned to Estádio da Luz for a heartfelt tribute. The emotions, the pride, the gratitude... all in the first person, to see here! Not to be missed!

Miccoli returned to the Estádio da Luz, where, on Sunday, April 13, during half-time of the Benfica-Arouca (2-2) match of round 29 of the Liga Betclic, he once again set foot on the pitch. Proud and grateful to the Benfica fans and the club, the former striker - who wore the Manto Sagrado in 2005/06 and 2006/07 - was greeted with applause from the fans, who watched images of some of his best moments with the eagle on his chest, in this beautiful tribute! “Go Benfica! Always,” shared the former player.
