And so begins the preparation for the 2022/23 season of Benfica's professional football team! The day started early with medical exams at Hospital da Luz, where, divided by groups, the athletes will be submitted to clinical evaluations throughout the day. João Mário, Pizzi, Gilberto, André Almeida, Rafa, Gil Dias, Grimaldo, Diogo Gonçalves, Chiquinho, Samuel Soares, Meïte, Weigl, Rodrigo Pinho and Lucas Veríssimo were present in the first phase. In the afternoon Henrique Araújo, Tiago Gouveia, Paulo Bernardo, Florentino, António Silva, Tomás Araújo, André Gomes, Martim Neto, Helton, Morato, Diego Moreira, Bah, Neres, Musa, and Ristic attended.
