He arrived at Seixal in 2015/16, at the age of 11, to represent the U-14 team. The path in Benfica's youth ranks continued in the Under-17s, Under-19s, Under-23 and B Team.
In 2021/22, António Silva became U-19 National Champion and U-19 European Champion.
On August 27, 2022, at the age of 18, the center-back made his first team debut, in the National Championship match against Boavista (a 0-3 win at Estádio do Bessa).
António Silva has a background in the youth national teams and is a Portuguese Under-19 international.
