At the Benfica Museum - Cosme Damião we believe that culture and sport are essential for a healthy society - the
ideal of a healthy mind in a healthy body. On International Museum Day, we explore the theme "Sport, Mental
Health and Well-Being", focusing on the relationship of sport with mental health and well-being of people and
athletes from different backgrounds and of different ages. What are the benefits of sport for physical and
mental health? What psychological obstacles do athletes face? What consequences does it have for the ageing
process? Join us in this debate, which will bring Sport Lisboa e Benfica's figures and projects to light!
