It was in this management that the junction between Sport Clube de Benfica and the Grupo Sport Lisboa was completed, with the financial and sports consolidation of Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
Grupo Sport Benfica’s president (in February 1908, Sport Clube de Benfica), he became the Sport Lisboa e Benfica’s president by the time of Sport Club de Benfica’s and Grupo Sport Lisboa’s junction, on the 13th of September 1908.
