This 416 days of mandate works go beyond this short period of time, because it had influence on the following years.
He was a Vice-president in the previous mandate. In 1910, the football team was a Lisboa’s champion for the first time and in the three existing categories (1st, 2nd and 3rd), with Cosme Damião as the Football leader. Athletics and Cycling were developed, respectively, by Francisco Lázaro and Alberto Albuquerque. He has founded the "Desportos de Benfica" (1913) - which was, three years later, integrated in Sport Lisboa e Benfica. He came back to the board, as Vice-president, in 1916 and would be the supervisory board president and vice-president, from 1919 to 1924. Was a "Sócio Benemérito" (1908).
