You've shone in Portugal, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, Greece... How can this step, playing with an eagle on your chest, be special at this stage?

It's always a source of pride for any player to be able to represent Benfica. I have this opportunity and I have to say thank you. I think that, God willing, everything will go well. I'm very happy and very much looking forward to training, meeting my teammates and making my debut in this fantastic stadium.

You identify perfectly with Benfica's greatness, but also with the football the team plays on the pitch. What I'm asking you is: how can you quickly adapt to the playing processes adopted by Bruno Lage?

Obviously, because Benfica have good players, with a lot of quality, and they have a good coach, who I already knew. So I think that, with the help of my teammates and the coach, everything can get easier. That's all I'm asking. Keep working and achieve our goal.

While we're on the subject of goals, Benfica have already won the League Cup and are in contention for all the other competitions. This is one of those responsibilities that a player certainly dreams of...

Yes. We're in all the competitions, and we're going to fight in all of them to win.

A message for the Benfiquistas...

Thank you very much. I'm here, I hope we'll see you here soon, in this fantastic stadium, and that I can count on your support. A big hug.
