Cláudio Pereira, a referee from AF Aveiro, was appointed by the Portuguese Football Federation to officiate the Benfica-SC Braga match, in the semi-final of the League Cup. The match takes place at the Estádio Municipal de Leiria - Dr. Magalhães Pessoa, at 7:45 pm on Wednesday, January 8.

Tiago Costa and Sérgio Jesus will be the assistants and Carlos Macedo the fourth official.

The video referee (VAR) will be Bruno Esteves, with Fábio Melo as assistant (AVAR 1) and Ângelo Carneiro as assistant (AVAR 2).
