Benfica Rui Costa Inauguration Casa Arouca

The President of Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Rui Costa, will be present at the official inauguration ceremony of the new facilities of Casa Benfica Arouca, on November 30.

The Benfica delegation also includes vice-president Domingos Almeida Lima and the director of the Casas Benfica department, Jorge Jacinto.

The official event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm, with a reception for the delegation at the Arouca Town Hall, followed by the official inauguration at 1:00 pm, at the new premises of Casa Benfica no. 218, located in Rua Alexandre Herculano. The ceremony concludes with a commemorative lunch, scheduled for 1:30 pm in the tent of the Hotel São Pedro de Arouca.

An important milestone in the history of the red embassy, which was founded on April 13, 2007, and received the New Image of Casas Benfica in June 2023. In addition to promoting sporting activities such as mountain biking, Casa Benfica Arouca also organizes quadrille tournaments and promotes solidarity actions, such as collecting food to support people in need.
