A wish come true

On Sunday, February 25, Leonardo made a dream come true at the Estádio da Luz after the Benfica-Portimonense, on matchday 23 of the Liga Betclic. The initiative, promoted by the Benfica Foundation and the Professional Football, allowed the Benfica player from Terceira Island in the Azores to spend time with the players, coach Roger Schmidt and President Rui Costa. An unforgettable day for João

Last Saturday, October 28, João had the opportunity to meet his idols and experience a day that will certainly live long in his memory. In a joint initiative between the Benfica Foundation and the Club's Professional Football, the young Benfica fan took pictures with the first-team players, coach Roger Schmidt and President Rui Costa after the final whistle of the match against Casa Pia at the Estádio da Luz. They all signed a jersey for him, which he kept with great affection.
