Trubin, Benfica's goalkeeper, started in the 0-0 draw between Ukraine and Germany on Monday, June 3, in Nuremberg, in a friendly match in preparation for the European Championship.

The Eagles' keeper was considered the best player on the pitch among Ukrainians, according to data from the Sofascore platform. Trubin made five saves, touched the ball 52 times and had 81% of passes correct (30/37 attempts).

Serhiy Rebrov's men will play two more preparation matches before the European Championship, against Poland (June 7) and Moldova (June 11).

Ukraine are in Group E of the European Championship, where they will face Romania (June 17 in Munich), Slovakia (June 21 in Düsseldorf) and Belgium (June 26 in Stuttgart).
