It gives me great pleasure to congratulate the women's handball team on their unprecedented win in the FAP Cup.

This trophy represents Sport Lisboa e Benfica winning its 1000th official team title, which is in itself an extraordinary source of pride for all Benfica fans.

Against Madeira SAD and Academia São Pedro do Sul, playing at home, our team showed all its ability to overcome and won the competition with complete justice. Team and staff.
