Aware that the result was far from what was desired - and deserved - Otamendi, Florentino and Aursnes are convinced that the 2-2 draw against Rangers in the first leg of the Europa League last 16 on Thursday, March 7, leaves everything open for the match in Glasgow.

Benfica-Rangers

OTAMENDI

"There are 90 more minutes to qualify"

"We're going through a phase where they're coming in and converting. Today, when we were better in the game, they scored. We drew, and they scored straight away, and that counts. We have to be positive, believe in ourselves, try to improve and correct our mistakes. We're going through a bad phase, the important thing is the unity of the group and always being positive. Looking forward. The crowd always supports us, the fans are always there, but we're the ones who play on the pitch, we're the ones who have to correct our mistakes, we have to improve, of course. We have to get back to winning ways, and that's important. We have another 90 minutes to qualify. We have to get out of this situation we're unfortunately in. We didn't get a lead today, but we'll try our best to go through to the next round."

FLORENTINO

"Keep fighting on the fronts we're on"

"We wanted to win the game. We were unlucky with our finishing, we had a lot of chances, and we could have scored more goals, but we have a clear conscience, and we did everything on the pitch. We have the second leg to give our all and go through. I think we'll get a positive result. [Atmosphere in Scotland] We play every game to win. Of course the atmosphere will be difficult, but those are the games we like, games with pressure. That's what we're here for, and I think the response will be positive. In Portugal, we also have stadiums with good atmospheres. We'll approach the game in the same way. It's not easy to deal with defeats, but with time, with our work, with our unity and with the atmosphere we have in the locker room, everything will pass. What we want to keep doing is fighting for the fronts we're on, the Europa League is one of them, and we're going to give everything to get to the next stage."

Aursnes

AURSNES

"We deserved to win"

"We're at the halfway stage of the tie, we have to look ahead, think about the next game and try to win. We have to stick together, we deserved to win today. I think we have a good chance of going through."
