Sunday night was marked by SL Benfica's 3-0 win against Gil Vicente, on matchday 20 of the Liga Betclic... and also by Bah's return to the starting line-up after a long absence due to injury.
"Mentally I'm delighted. It's been a difficult few months, I've missed this stadium a lot, and I'm pleased to be back, especially with a win. Physically I felt good, I played the full 90 minutes, I'm back, and now we have to keep improving," analyzed the No. 6 jersey of Roger Schmidt's side.
Looking back on the match and the three points scored, Bah, who had an 84% pass accuracy rate on the night, has no doubts about the fairness of the outcome, as he explained to BTV.
"It was a deserved win in a sometimes difficult game. Gil Vicente played well, we scored three goals, defended well and could have scored more," said the right-back, pointing to goals: "Every win is important. We want to be in first place, we have to keep pushing, keep working, keep fighting all 90 minutes, and you'll see in the end."
