BTV Experience, a new way to watch football

BTV is launching an innovative format for broadcasting football matches in Portugal. Through the BTV Experience, it will be possible to access new angles of the matches through the multi-camera feature.

In line with international best practices and new trends in sports content viewing, BTV Experience is positioned as a pioneering premium product on the Portuguese sports scene that introduces, in this first phase, the possibility for each fan to have their own view of the broadcast of football matches.

Available indoors and outdoors on TV, PC, smartphone and tablet, the multi-camera feature will allow access to complementary and detailed angles during the broadcast of Benfica matches on BTV, enriching the fans' experience.

This product will be automatically available to all current BTV subscribers of the MEO, NOS and VODAFONE operators for the Benfica-Boavista National Championship match on January 19. On this date, and at no additional cost, current BTV subscribers will have immediate access to the BTV Experience features, through the experience defined by their Operator.

As of February 1, BTV is redesigning its offer, dividing it into an entry-level version, BTV HD, and BTV Experience. As well as broadcasting Benfica matches in Full HD, which remains part of the basic offer, BTV Experience gives you access to the new multi-camera feeds (a feature only available from subscribing operators) and allows you to watch the broadcast on all your screens, both indoors and outdoors (multiscreen feature). These are exclusive features of a product that will continue to evolve, with more news to be revealed later this year.

The BTV Experience is the result of a partnership between NOS Lusomundo Audiovisuais, BTV and the national operators, in a project that aims to bring BTV subscribers a new way of watching football and experiencing the emotions of the king of sports.
