Estádio da Luz with the best attendances ever

The seven home games played by Benfica in this edition of the Liga Betclic have seen the best attendances in the entire competition. The average number of spectators per match is almost 60,000 (59,433), the highest recorded in the 20 years of the New Cathedral's life.

Pulverizing the Liga Betclic attendance figures, Benfica's occupancy rate of over 90% has helped Roger Schmidt's side remain unbeaten in their seven league games as hosts.

More than 67,000 seats are sold for every match - the more than 64,000 at the Estádio da Luz plus the resale of secondary market tickets, which average more than 3,000 per match.

The venue's modernized image, unveiled at the beginning of 2023, has also enhanced the matchday experience at the stadium. Benefiting from the two new giant screens, the five digital lines, the improvement in sound, and the implementation of the LED lighting system, the pre-match multimedia show has already become one of the ex-libris of the home of all Benfica fans.

Another of Benfica's investments with fans in mind was the Wi-Fi offer, available in all areas of the Estádio da Luz.
