Benfica once again beat the Swedish team, this time in their own pavilion, and ended their participation in the EHF European League in 3rd place in Group A with four points.

HBC Nantes-Benfica: preview by Jota González and Mike Jensen

Benfica begins its journey in the EHF European League this Tuesday, October 17, at 7:45 pm, at the H Arena, against HBC Nantes, in matchday 1 of Group A. Speaking to BTV, Jota González described the opposition as a "very well-built team, with players who attack and defend" and who "are good one-on-one". Even though Nantes are "one of Europe's giants", the coach guaranteed that the Eagles will not give up on victory. "It's an important test for us, to grow, but we're going to try to give everything and surprise. We know it's difficult, but we're not just going to settle for growth. We want to win," he said. Mike Jensen also sees this as a good opportunity for the Reds to improve. "It will be a challenge, but we want to play against the best teams," he concluded.
