STATEMENTS TO BTV

Decisive. Tengstedt scored, at 90'+7', the goal that earned Benfica against Sporting, by 2-1, this Sunday, November 12, in the derby from matchday 11 of the Liga Betclic. 

Still ecstatic at the happiness of the moment, the Danish international told BTV what was on his mind. "It's incredible, I've dreamed of this moment. Winning a derby... Getting the three points was incredible and the stadium was fantastic", he said in reference to the atmosphere in the Cathedral, with 62,166 supporters present.

Encouraged to describe the key moment of the derby, Tengstedt spoke of "feeling": "First of all, it was a good ball from Fredrik [Aursnes]. Rafa left it for me and then I just put it in. You can't describe it..."

With the team fighting until the end, the Nordic forward praised the resilience of the team coached by Roger Schmidt. "We showed great attitude, we fought the whole game for the three points, to finish in the best way before the national team commitments," he said.
