Portugal's women's national football team beat their Norwegian counterparts 3-2 on matchday 2 of the Nations League. Carole Costa scored a brace and the Portuguese national team climb to 2nd place in Group 2 of the competition.

On Tuesday evening, September 26, the Estádio Cidade de Barcelos hosted another important match for the "Navegadoras", with the benfiquistas Catarina Amado, Carole Costa and Francisca Nazareth in the starting eleven chosen by Francisco Neto.

With this result, and after losing to France (2-0) in the debut in the competition, Portugal clinches the first three points in the competition and climbs to 2nd place of Group 2.

Before the kick-off, the Portuguese internationals Francisca Nazareth and Catarina Amado was honored for having made 25 international appearances for the senior women's national team.
