Led by coach Roger Schmidt, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's professional football team kicks off for the 2023/24 season this Wednesday, July 5.

The first day of pre-season work begins in the early hours of the morning and will be dedicated to medical examinations and physical tests. Distributed by groups, the athletes will undergo clinical evaluations at Hospital da Luz and tests at Benfica Campus, fulfilling one of the procedures of the protocol for the resumption of activities.
