Marcel Matz, coach of the volleyball team of Benfica, was elected the best coach of the year by the National Association of Volleyball Coaches at its 25th meeting, held this weekend, June 17 and 18, at Faculdade de Desporto da Universidade do Porto.

The red coach, who won the 4th National Championship and the Portuguese Cup last season, obtained 65.3% of the votes, winning the award again.

Also Rita Fernandes, assistant coach of the women's team, was the most voted in the field of female training, with 33.5% of the preferences.
