Sport Lisboa e Benfica informs that has reached an agreement with Sunderland, from England, for the definitive transfer of Luís Semedo.

Born on August 11, 2003, the striker began his career in the Benfica Football Schools and completed all his formation with the red jersey.

Luís Semedo joined the Benfica team that won the UEFA Youth League in the 2021/22 season. At the beginning of the 2022/23 season (during which he would compete almost exclusively for B team) he made his contribution in the final of the Intercontinental U20 Cup (entered and scored the only goal) won by the reds in Montevideo, Uruguay.

SL Benfica wishes all the best to Luís Semedo for this new phase of his career.
