This Sunday, June 4, Rochele Nunes won the gold medal in the +78 kg category in the Dushanbe Grand Prix 2023. The Benfica judoka had an unblemished performance that culminated in a victory by wazari over the German Samira Bouizgarne, in the final. 

This was the second medal won by Benfica judokas in the event that took place in Tajikistan, after Anri Egutidze took bronze in the -81 kg category, on Saturday, June 3.

With 1 goal and 1 assist, Aktürkoğlu was Man of the Match in Benfica's 6-0 thrashing of AVS on matchday 31 of the Liga Betclic. Praising Benfica's performance, the Turkish international stressed that the eagles should “keep going like this, with the fans”.
